How it's made
Gallery quality isn't an accident. Here's how a 3DLuxeLab piece actually comes together — and the steps most shops quietly skip.
- 01
Dialed-in design
Every build starts as a model — an original design, a commissioned concept, or a part engineered to print clean. We tune geometry, wall thickness, and supports so the print succeeds the first time and the fine details actually survive.
- 02
Printed in-house
We print everything ourselves across a multi-printer fleet — high-resolution resin for fine detail, engineering-grade filament for strength and scale. Keeping it in-house means we control quality at every layer. No outsourcing, no surprises.
- 03
Finishing — the part everyone skips
This is where gallery quality is won. Sanding, filling, priming, airbrushing, gilding, weathering — by hand, slowly. It's the unglamorous work that turns a print into a piece, and it's the reason ours don't look printed.
- 04
Lit & assembled
Devotional lanterns get special care: we tune the lithophane gradients by hand so the artwork glows just right, then mount everything on a finished base with a battery LED votive. Wearables get magnets, liners, and a real fit check.
- 05
Inspected & packed
Every piece gets a final once-over against one standard: would we keep it on our own shelf? Then it's cushioned, braced, and packed to arrive exactly as it left.
Our one standard
We don't ship anything we wouldn't keep ourselves. That means no stray layer lines we didn't intend, no rushed paint, no "good enough." If a piece doesn't meet the bar, it doesn't go out — it goes back on the bench.
